This song was played only once and it's from one of the few Dr. D episodes we don't have. Even if we did, the lawyers make it difficult to make it available - as is explained in detail on the Help page. www.madmusic.com/tmmahelp.aspx

I have this song, and a few others from that show on 1/7/79 on cassette tape - I taped the show right off the radio. "Let's have a party. Let's order a pizza tonight. Let's do it right with the combo deluxe. It was strange how we found it there, lying out on the doormat -- little did we know it devoured the delivery boy"

WOW ! 2005 is the last time this song was discussed ? Well GOODY ! hopefully that means that SOMEONE has finally dug up a recording of it !

The Dr. Demento Show #79-01 - January 7, 1979

looking to purchase the song, "The Pizza's Revenge" by Bruce Popka.
Or the entire radio broadcast containing the song. I grew up listening to Dr. Demento, and was used to Funny Songs, but I recall being on the floor rolling around in agony from laughing so hard that I could not catch my breath, the 1st time I heard this song in 1976-77. I started a petition around my high school to request it from Dr Demento but missed the Show. The Broadcast Date listed here appears to be the result of MY PETITION ; )
Apparently, this was never a commercial release; only a home-made cassette or acetate, and this website is the ONLY hit I can get online. Been trying to score this song since I was a kid.
