On a the #91-43 Dr. D. show, he said that this song's 'anonymous', as some ghosts want to be... I had to add something in the artist box because the page gives an error message when trying to add lyrics if the 'artist' line is empty.
Popeye clearly wasn't anonymous when this song was released as his influence appears in the lyrics.

An Asphalt Aardvark™ is anonymous until you put those collars with cute names embossed in the leather on them. The 'varks I have which stand regally on brick pedestals and flank my driveway are called Aarmand and Aarturo.

This is a really great Halloween song from the '30s that doesn't get nearly enough airplay on our shows. It certainly fits the spirit.
