Good one. This is what a good Thanksgiving mix should sound like. If it absolutely must be SFW. I still prefer a bit of profanity, but that's just me, it seems.

When I made the small banners for your shows, I made one for your hour long shows as well, so I fixed that here.

Thanks Stavro. I didn't think to look for a Mad Music Hour banner.

btw This is not the show I had intended to make. I scrapped the idea for the first one after working on it for a week. Then I was half way through the second show, a 2 hour show, when other DJs started playing all my song choices. So I waited til the last minute and deleted half of the show and then added more songs I found on the internet. I'm glad you think it was a good mix.

13 new songs got debuted!

I used to notice that as well. At some point, I stopped caring. I noticed that DT tends to play everything in long shows and A-Log & I are both otakus, so the songs overlapping is to be expected. In the end, it comes down to a diverse playlist and a unique delivery. Listeners might overlook my crappy microphone & mixing it with Audacity 2.12 if the presentation itself doesn't blow goats.

It doesn't hurt to have scripts using the site's own song page annotation built in. "Perform Show Research" turned out to be a useful site function. Said page annotation was virtually always written by me, so it's no big deal. And I'll often repeat what was written about a song in different shows. If listeners even notice, they don't mention it.

The gimmicks do the rest and break up the monotony. You're expecting a show about winter, then up come the Pythonesque horns and the theme breaking gimmick turns the rest of the show or segment into smashing mice with hammers or something. Yes, unpredictability = fun.

Excellent banner. It goes well with the one I use. Of course, this ep. is still a Mad Music Hour, a "show" is 2 hours & a "special" is 3 or more, but it looks just right and is better than anything I could manage, so I won't make a fuss.

Ok I changed it just for you.

Thanks. Sorry to be such an old bastard about these things all the time...oh, wait. My large banners proclaim exactly that, don't they? The 'truth in advertising' people strike again.
