Ross Bagdasarian was born in Fresno, California in 1919. He decided to use the name David Seville because of his love of the city he was stationed at during world war 2. His Chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore were named for Liberty Records executives Alvin Bennett, Si Waronker and Ted Keep. The Liberty executives were delighted. (cjvq0870)

I was able to get them to load by altering the link to begin with www.themadmusicarchive.com/, I'm sure they'll fix the links soon, but they are actually on the site
